When I bottled this a week ago, I put 5 ozs of dextose to bottle 5 gallons.

I just opened one to check it out. It tastes very good and has some carbonation but not enough. Will it get more or did I do something wrong? It is in the basement and the temp is 64 degrees.

One week is way too soon, especially at 64 degrees. Optimally, three weeks at 70 degrees will do the trick. Your cooler temps will slow things a bit.

I know your name is impatient, but try not to be.
:D

thats alright i have 2 cases of boston lager to put away

lets say i don't want to move the beer to a warmer area, how long should I wait @ 64 degrees?

Taste real goooood!

Looks good, too. Tough to say how long to wait. Go the standard three weeks and try one, just one. If it's not how you want it, wait another week and try one, just one, etc., etc.
