I was thinking of adding a little fruit to my american wheat because it just seems too "plain" to me.

How do I go about doing this? Can I do it right in the primary? How much to add for just a slight flavor?

Thanks!

Two simplest methods are:

1. Get the 4oz bottle of whatever fruit flavor and add to bottling bucket. I use a little more than half for a 5 gallon batch.

2. Get the 3 pound can of Oregone puree (whatever flavor) and add to secondary and rack onto it. I usually rack off to a tertiary for a few days before going to bottling bucket just to keep fruit out.

I've used frozen fruit added to secondary and then rackied the beer on top of it for a couple of weeks. I've used blackberries and raspberries from the frozen section at any supermarket with pretty good results.
