Here's the situation:
I just kegged a lambic that has been in an ale pail for about 4 months. My question is whether or not it's worth keeping and trying to sanitize it or just throwing it out. If it is worth sanitizing, how would you go about doing it? I have starsan on hand and was thinking maybe a combination of that and boiling water treatments. Thanks for the help!

I would probably just keep it and try to sanitize, you may want to use a harder substance for your lambic fermentations, I use kegs.

Wow- I just don't know. I assume you could bleach bomb the plastic, but I don't know if it'd be worth the risk. I'd do sours in glass, if it was me.

You could always use the bucket for storage for grain, and buy a new one for a fermenter. That's what I'd do.
