Hi,

While brewing yesterday the tap on my brew kettle started leeking from a split in the side of it, I hastily taped it up but need to replace it. How easy is it to do this? Will the seal be good enough?

Thanks

Depends on what your kettle is made of, how the tap is built & how it is connected. Easiest case is an aluminum kettle with a weldless fitting. Toughest is a keggle with a welded tap.
