im brewing next weekend for my friend, he has never brewed so i am trying to get him into it. im looking for a good partial mash recipe to teach him, any suggestions?
Without knowing what styles he likes it's hard to say; I would just poke through the recipe database in a style you know he likes and see if anything jumps out at you. If you find an AG recipe you like just post for help with a conversion.
I brewed a really nice PM cream ale a while back. Just a really standard extract APA, but with about 1.5 lb flaked corn mashed with about .25 lb roasted barley and 1.5 lb two-row or Maris Otter. Delicious, easy to drink, easy to make, and a fun M because of the corn.
