I'm assuming you are bottling. How much priming sugar did you add and what what your volume?

Turn down (or off) the gas to the keg and vent it a few times a day.

+1 turn off the gas and bleed some pressure. after a couple hours, pull it again. then turn the gas back on at a lower pressure, drink a pint or 2, and call it a day!
