Hello All....just stumbled onto your site. I was searching the new for an answer to a brewing question and found this forum. I'm glad I did - lots of great information...and I've only been on for 10 minutes! :D

I haven't asked it yet...was hoping to stumble onto it. But, since you asked. I picked up 180 Grolsch bottles at an aution for $8. I was wondering as to their suitability for bottling homebrew. I will replace the rubber gaskets. Any thoughts???? Thanks...

What color are the bottles? If they are any color other than brown you will have to make sure they are not exposed to direct light which cause the beer to have a skunky flavor. That sounds like a great deal! 180 bottles will keep you going for awhile.
Replacing the gaskets is a good idea as they eventually dry out.
Great find! :mug:
