I stashed a bottle of fermcap in my fridge and now the consistency and color of elmer's glue... I thought when I used it previously it was a a clear liquid...

My bottle has always been elmer's glue like (keep in keezer as well). This is the first bottle I've purchased so I didn't know what to expect.

awesome, thank you guys. How many drops do you generally add to your starter and to your 5 gallon fermenter?

A big drop for a starter, even more for my boil. Never used it for ferment as I temp control that.

I use one drop in starters, when needing it...

For the brew, I use 2-3 drops per gallon, as per the official recommendations... 9 drops per gallon is insane.

As instructed on my bottle, 1 - 2 drops per gallon. I usually use 8 drops in a 5 gallon batch and it works perfectly!
