This is my very first batch of kombucha. It's only been brewing for a week, but it's starting to smell a bit vinegary. Anyways, my concern: it started growing a baby scoby on top, but there are dark spots on it, verging on black. Picture attached.

looks perfectly fine
fuzz is the only thing to worry about, the dark spots are just dead yeast
