We've probably all had them, the reason that blow-off tubes exist. Lids blown off of fermentors so hard that they dent the ceiling(done that!), sticky spray inside a closet, etc. Let's see some good ones!

My most recent one, a high gravity that blew the top off the bucket:

One a few weeks ago. It blew out the blowoff tube and sprayed up to the ceiling:

This is why I always put the fermentors in the spare shower!
 
A cream ale that kicked up a head of krausen like crazy. Like a complete doofus, I didn't attach a blow off hose like I normally do. About 24 hours into fermentation, I hear a loud POP, walk in to the utility room and see this..... :smack: Blew the lid right off the three piece airlock and it landed clear on the other side of the room.

I brewed a Russian Imperial Stout yesterday, 1.102 OG, and fitted a blow-off with tubing from an auto-siphon.

Yeah, that wasn't nearly big enough.
