I was wondering if anyone knew if you could boil white lab vials to sanitize them or is it better to soak them in a sanitizer?

Ok I'll just soak them in sanitizer then. I dont have a dishwasher right now. Thanks for the reply.

I peel the top layer of my labels off with clear tape.

In case you don't know it...save your labels...they can be turned in for free yeast and t-shirts, etc.

The paper next to the glue will wash off leaving the vial all sticky. You can remove the glue with Goop-Off, etc. ;)

I also made a rack out of a 2x4 for my fridge door:

I plan on using the vials to store yeast. I have some irish ale yeast from a guinness clone that I'm going to experiemnt on. We will see how it all turns out. Hope I don't mess it all up and infect all the yeast.
