Well, even though this will be a long term project, I figured I'll start this now anyway. I needed the collar so I can fit Coors light in there and still have room for other beers, so I had to utilize the 'hump'.
Plans are for 6 taps, 4 beers and 2 misc things (rootbeer), led lights along the bottom of the counter top, and bottom of the faucets, Love controller with a temp probe in the coffin to kick the 2 120mm fans on when needed. I would like to have a 30-36" flush mount ss drip tray with flange and a drain, which im having a hard time finding, the outside will be finished with reclaimed barn wood (if I can find it) and tile on the top.

Here's what im starting from, a classic $50 C-list find, its a white westinghouse, and its 24yrs old, very clean. Guessing 14-15cf

When I 'gutted' the lid, it seems pretty flimsy, so I added some 2x2's around the frame for support.

Because I have to shave off every bit of height as I can, I recessed the wheels a bit in the frame

Here is the frame pretty much finished

Here's how it sits on the ground

Here's the collar, made from treated 2x8's (only because I had them laying around)

Bottom frame done, top placed on for fitting. Top is 2 sheets of 23/32 ply wood, I didn't want any flex, and wanted about a foot of overhang on the front, which I realized I couldn't have because you wouldn't be able to reach any of the taps.

The start of the coffin

Needed to cut 5" holes for the fans, bought a 4" pvc sewer connector, OD was 5", I couldn't find anyone with a 5" hole saw, and was not spending $40 to make 2 cuts, so I compromised. I don't suggest my method, but it worked.

Just got back from a little snowmobiling trip, so now I can get back on it. Going to cut a 2" hole to run the lines through, then just insulate the crap out of the coffin.
This project would be easier if I had the parts already, so I could measure the distance between faucets, measure an actual drip tray and what not. But I have to buy everything in steps. I just got an ok to help myself to a barn, but I haven't seen it yet, so im not sure what's salvageable.
Tips, suggestions, questions, im here.

Would also like to thank everyone for sharing their builds, it has helped a lot.

Little more work yesterday...

Sillyconed the 2" toilet pipe for the beer lines, and the 5" pipes for the fans

Well, I said 'long term', I wasn't kidding. But, it's almost there! A big hold up was trying to acquire barn wood, I gave up, went to a lumber yard, they had some air-dried red oak, I took it.

As of today, im waiting for the mortar to dry, so I can grout, I'll go work on some trim while that's happening. I can't complete the front of the cabinet till its inside my house, it'll be about 1/2" too big to get in.
I have to take measurements to make some lift assist springs for the top, that thing is heavier than 10 dead..., well, it's very heavy.
After the top is done, I'll start working on the wiring, im going to attempt to have my love controller control the temp in the freezer, with another probe in the coffin turning the circulation fans on as needed.

First time doing tile, made a pretty good mess, but I enjoyed it.
