Kettle Valve?

Anyone use these on their brew kettle? I was planning on using 1 on my brew kettle and 1 on my mash tun too. Seems like a good deal.

Add whatever size barb you want and still be a few bucks cheaper. I use these on a few of my kettles.

These are fine with a gravity system but only 3/8" outlet so not so great if you're using a pump.

They're 1/2" outlet and 1/2" inlet. The inlet is 3/8" threaded inside the inlet. So they'll take a male 3/8" on the inside. The flow is all 1/2" OD though. I use them with Chugger pumps. Same flow as any other 1/2" valve I use...

Im going to go with barginfittings weldless bulkhead, their stainless 2 piece valve, and 1/2 stainless barbed fitting. Anyone use this valve? Any good?

That's the very same valve and barb I have on my brew kettle. It works fine.
