I was looking at elements on this site. I'm in the market for a 4500 w element. The low density is $10.32 and the extra low density is $27.69. Is low density good enough or should I pay almost 3 times as much for the extra low?
LD should be fie but in looking at the picture the LD element will not suruvive a dry fire where the eld will. So if you go with the Low density over the extra low you need to be certain that there is liquid in there.
Good point! That alone might be worth the price of admission. A 2000 w 120V HD element sounds pretty much like a firecracker when dry fired...don't ask...just expect the unexpected!
