I found this recipie while browsing through reviews for a particular beer kit. It sounds interesting and I have a keg free so I wanted to get your thoughts.

6 lbs light DME
.5 lbs 40L
.5 honey malt(gambrinus)
10 oz Magnum hops
1 lb clover honey

Steep grains at 155 for 20 minutes. Boil DME for 1 hr, add 1 oz Magnum at 30 min, add honey at flameout. Pitch Nottingham.

Seem legit? Seems like a decent spring/summer blonde type ale.

Typo! 1 oz hops, not 10... Sheesh....

Hi, Jet, I moved this thread from the recipe database, which is for 'tried and true' recipes to the Recipe/Ingredients forum, where more people are likely to see it and you may receive more responses.

Seems like a nice recipe. 1 lb of honey in a 5 gallon batch is good, its enough to dry out the beer some and be noticeable but not too much. I used 1 lb of honey in the White House Honey Ale recipe and it worked out well.
