So I got so exited about finishing my first batch of beer that I left the immersion chiller my sanitizing bucket for my than a few hours. The copper tarnished quite a bit on it. Am I still okay (and safe) to keep using it? Is there anything to worry about? I know, RDWHAHB... Sorry if this is a stupid noob question.

Just clean it well, and sanitize well. Copper will tarnish. If you remove the tarnish it will tarnish again.... Don't own, yet, one but have messed with copper on occasion.

I know what your talking about...I've done several batches since no problems or off flavors....just clean it...then situation normal
