I've looked around here and elsewhere and keep getting conflicting answers.
Are rice hulls enough with a 50%wheat bill to avoid problems or should I go forth with my plan of a 15 minute protein rest? The wheat is malted and the other half is MO.
 
I just brewed a hefe with 50/50 wheat and MO. Also added 1 lb flaked wheat. 1 lb of rice hulls did the trick for this 10 gallon batch.
