So I've done a TON of research on home brewing but have yet to try it. I'm currently trying to get my hands on equipment and ingredients, but I will definitely be using this site for recipes and troubleshooting! I look foward to contributing!

The book I plan to use (plan to pick it up once I get some time to myself) is How to Brew by John Palmer. A friend of mine says its the beginner's brew bible. I think its around $15 at Barnes and Noble.

If someone else has any suggestions I'm more than open to them.

Welcome to the addiction...How to brew is a great book.I reccomend read all that you can here and in books and also brew with a friend who has some exp, that is a great help to get your hands dirty and see how its done first hand.where in NJ are you?
