I have a wit bottled in my temp controled fridge at 60F.The strawberry wheat recipe says to ferment at 70F.Can I turn the temp up to 70F without screwing up my wit? (used nottingham for yeast)
If your wit is bottled, the temp won't affect it. If it hasn't carbed yet, 70 would be ideal for that.
70 might be a little too warm for fermenting your other beer, regardless what the instructions say. Instructions on beer kits don't always offer great advice.
Depending on the yeast strain, mid 60s would probably be better than 70.
