I haven't, but Mark at Golden Valley did an all-Saaz Pilsner a few months back. He really used a lot for dry hopping and it took a while to mellow. Very nice.

I use Saaz a great deal and really like them dry hopped. They are simply a fantastic hop, so go for it, especially in a light lager such as a pilsner.

I don't have lagering facilities, but I tried to make a very light ale.

9 lbs 2-row
.5 lbs. biscuit
.5 lbs. 80L Crystal

1 oz. Saaz (60)
.5 oz Hallertauer (30)
.5 oz. Saaz (30)

Nottingham Yeast

OG is 1.041. I mashed at 147-148 degrees, so I am hoping for a very dry and clean beer.

To be honest, I am brewing this in some regard for my father in law. He drinks Stag religiously and I have noticed that he does not like any beer that I consider to have "body" and "mouthfeel." I don't want to overdo the hops, but I think that what I have may be too little. Although dry hopping won't increase bitterness, I am hoping to add a little complexity to this beer.

I have some Saaz plugs. Should I toss .5 oz or a whole oz into secondary??
