Do you bother with adding gelatine to your porters and stouts?
THANKS

It depends how much you care about BJCP style descriptions. For most stouts and porters the appearance is supposed to be something along the lines of "if it is not opaque, it should be clear." So if it's murky but you can still see through it, it's considered a flaw according to the guidelines.

Gelatin will also alter the flavor...less yeasty...cleaner flavor profile IME...I would try it if you are inclined...but gelatin doesnt do much that time and cold won't do.
