I just bought some stainless steel tubing clamps that use a screw to tighten around the hose. I heated the hose end, and put the shank connector into the tube, and then tightened the screw as much as humanly possible. But the thing still leaks when I hook it up to my keg from the shank. Anyone have some suggestions for this?

They were circular when I put them on, and they don't seem bent now either.

what size hose and what size shank end? U could double up the clamps and see if that helps?

not sure I have never had this problem..yet anyway

If you can, get the clamps for pressurized gas lines at a auto parts store. They are designed to create a more equal pressure.

Thanks for all of the emergency help but...it was the shank connector. There was too big a gap between the screw piece and the nozzle, which made the leak look like it was coming from the tube--used a plastic washer to fix the problem.
