Just back to my trailer (my summer home) in DE to find you can't return bottles anymore. The bottle bill which was 5 cents per bottle was repealed. Anyone know why? This seems asinine to me, people are far less likely to recycle now they can't return their bottles and replace them with filled ones. There is now a 4 cents recycle fee per bottle. Was this lobbied by the breweries? The venders? I am pretty upset. One more blow to the environment.

I live in Milton and they are calling it a recycling tax, supposed to be for 5 years, kinda bs to me. Really though I only drink my own anyway.

thats it... tax something to save the environment. i guess they live by the guide lines of you ante haven't fun unless your burning fossil fuels.
