I just put together an inline oxygen stone in a T with camlocks. Is it better practice to place this at the beginning of the ~20' hose I use to pump from my BK to my fermenter or at the end of the hose as the wort enters the fermenter.

I don't want to knock my oxygen right out of the wort after streaming it in. I don't know if length of tubing would change that as I am still planning on dropping it into the fermenter from the lid height.

Also, with my snazzy new metered output regulator from williams brewing, how long do I want to leave it at say, 1 lpm to oxygenate a 10 gallon batch of a 1.060 lager?

Thanks, HBT! I'm stepping my rig up but I haven't done this before and would like to do it right without the pain of failed experimentation.
