I was looking at both of these step kits. Anybody have a preference or even another type that is better?

If you're not going through stainless, get whatever you want. If you're going into stainless, to make over a 1/2" hole, then get at least cobalt (titanium sucks for large holes in stainless) bits. Or, get a hole punch setup and never worry again (you do a 1/2" hole, then use the hole punch to actual hole size).

^ oh that is some great information, as I was almost mislead by some other posts. Do you have any examples of any good punches and/or cobalt bits?
