2.65 lbs of unknown grains(got lost and I found later)
.35 lbs quick oats(no salt)
1 gallon of sour mash(been relaxing in the tun for about 9 days now(saison)

No hops

Pitched onto white labs saison 2 yeast cake.

That is all.

I, too, am interested.

Any guess whatsoever to what the unknown grain could be? How long since you lost it?

If it is drinkable, I'll call it a success.

Hit mash temp but it fell off to the low 140s by the end of the hour. I guess the super low volume was the cause. Shooting for around 2 gallons post boil.

I'm pretty sure it was part of an american brown ale I did. When I was brewing that one I was a few pounds short and couldn't figure out why. No reason for the grains to be separated like that unless I put the ground grains back in the 10lb bag I bought them in, and had too many to fit. I don't know.

I purposely tried to abuse this beer as far as preparation goes. I didn't want to feel like I was vested in it. Lol

atm...never thought of it til now. :/

No bittering agents. We will see...Should be plenty sour. It had a nice aroma around 5-6 days. It wasn't foul today but definitely reminded me of sauerkraut.

Btw, could this potentially unsafe to drink?
