Visiting San Jose

I am visiting the Bay Area this week from Toronto and am looking to pick up a few bottles of Pliny the Elder. Can someone suggest a good place to find some. Also looking for some Dry Yeast. Is there a store that stocks a good selection?

Most of the Northern California "Whole Foods" stores carry Pliny (along with a nice selection of other local beers and craft beer standards). There is one fairly near San Jose.

The Concord MoreBeer location used to also carry Pliny, though I think they stopped. The Los Altos location may or may not carry it... If you call, they should tell you.

The "South Bay Area" distributor listed here should be able to tell you where else you might be able to find Pliny.

The south bay has a reputation for being a bit tougher to find good beer than the rest of the bay area. I assume that places like Whole Foods down there are likely to carry Pliny, but if not, and if you can get away long enough to come up to either SF or the east bay, Russian River is definitely easy to find.

there's a Whole Foods not too far from there on Bascom.

Thanks to everyone for your help. Got a 6 pack of Pliny the Elder at Whole Foods in Los Altos and the yeast a couple blocks up El Camino Real at More Beer.
