In the next few days I expect to make a CF chiller the usual type copper tube inside a hose and coiled up. There are a number of threads detailing their construction and I won't be deviating

I like to put my brewing equipment away clean and dry, is there any practical way to dry out the inside of the chiller. I don't have a compressor so I can't simply blast air through it.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Thanks. Aamcle

Without a compressor, there aren't any options I can think of. What I do is after running boiling hot water through it I turn it until water doesn't drain out anymore and trust that the heat will evaporate any remaining moisture.

I use a leaf blower to blow out water from my heat exchange.

Otherwise you can hang it upside down to help get the water out.

You could buy one of those $20 bucket-top shop vacs and use that to suck out the water inside.
