I have been using the boards for a while now as research and figured it might be time to contribute to the discussion.
I live in Eau Claire WI, and my father and I have been brewing all grain for about 1 year, around a dozen batches in and I am hopelessly addicted. I am still pretty much a beginner, but learning as much as I can as fast as I can. We recently entered a competition where we tasted others homebrew for the first time, we didn't win, but it has really motivated me to find ways to improve every step of our process.
Hopefully I can contribute something to the community, but I fear for the time being most of my contribution will be in the form of questions.
