Bottled a Mad Dog's Magical Mystery Beer on Saturday and currently fermenting an Oktoberfest Style ale.
I really should take an SG reading right about now, but I'm too lazy. My first all-original, five-gallon batch was, at last reading (Thursday night), fermenting nicely. I'll cold-crash it tomorrow, and, barring any unforeseen mishaps, bottle Friday night.

After 2.5 weeks at 54F I measured the gravity, it was down from 1.076 to 1.019. I raised the fermenting temp by 2 degrees/day for 3 days, then bumped it up to 64F for the past 3 days.How do you do a diacetyl rest?

TJ's Pumpkin Ale in the secondary, and a double ipa in the primary. Also, 3 less wisdom teeth in my mouth as of yesterday, no beers for me for a little bit

And since hops are antiseptic, wouldnt an IPA or IIPA be a good thing?
