Hi there everyone. I send my greetings from Oklahoma. I am brewing for the first time ever in my life. I now have started an American Light beer, the Apfelwein and a home recipe by John Ford, a friend in Okie Land. Hope everyone has a safe New Years.

You must have started with some decent equipment to have all that going at once!

I am new to this also and there is no question too stupid. Trust me on this!
 
Well I probably jumped in more than others. But I learn by doing more then just reading. I have acquired 3 carboys and bucket with items to go along with them.

I was told that you can't brew from an aluminum container. Is this right?

Thanks in advance for sharing your knowledge. This is fun, but waiting is killing me!!!
