I don't usually post in forums but since everyone else is saying Hi i will too. Just found this site and am looking forward to playing around on it. Been brewing for a couple years now and finally decided to try and tackle a Lager. Its an Oktoberfest and hopefully I will be able to drink it before October. From what I have been reading though it may take about that long

Welcome man. An Oktoberfest is one of the first beers on my lisst when I start doing Lagers. I hope yours turns out well.
 
Welcome! I'm out in the Northwest burbs of Chicago (Dundee/Elgin) Hope your Octoberfest turns out great. If you wanted you could do "OctoberFAST" recipe by BeirMuncher that is actually an ale, and then you'd have something to drink while your normal octoberfest lagered.
