I'm a first time brewer. I want to go all grain from the start (am I mad?). Can some body pass on a full proof pale recipe with over the top dry hopping. Also some helpful dry hopping techniques. Cheers

I'm getting ready to brew this one. It's a recipe I got from a friend.

Rye Pale Ale
--------------
9# Pilsner
2# Crystal 20L
2# Flaked Maize
2# Flaked Rye
1# Carapils
1 oz Cascade 60
1oz US Kent Goldings 15
1oz Amarillo 5,
1oz Amarillo dry
WLP550

Mash at 152 for an hour
Mash out at 168 for 10 min.

My dry hopping technique:
1. rack beer to secondary
2. Open hops
3. Dump in hops in fermenter
4. Stick in airlock
:)
