Anybody ever wash out WLP862 White Labs Cry Havoc? I have huge curds of stuff in my gallon jar and none of the milky colored stuff I am used to seeing.

Help?

I've never used that one, but it sounds like what I experienced with WLP002 - big chunks - very different from the WLP001 I had previously used. Some yeast just floculates like that.

Any ideas? I still have a great big floating mess in my gallon jug.

If its highly floculating similar to 002 ,you harvest the bottom layer.

I really want to save some of this. After all, I built a beer around it. Warrior Hops, a mixed breed malt pedigree, and a bitterness to make a northwesterner pucker.
