Partial Mash Bohe Pils.....single step or decoction?

I am doing a partial mash bohe pils in a couple weeks. I'll only be mashing about 5.5# total for each one. Should I just do a single step or should I pull some decoctions? It doesn't matter to me, I just want to know which is more proper?
