I'm getting ready to bottle my first beer and i was just curious if certain styles of beer are carbed to specific levels? I was planning on bottle my Amber at 2.5.

Go to Tastybrew.com and look at the calculators on the left hand side. Every style of beer has different thoughts on priming. American styles are typically bottled at the 2.5vols, but check out that site to see the differences.
