How long can I expect my home brew bitter to last in a pressurised barrel? I've got a kit that needs to be used by the end of October but wanted to make a brew for Christmas, will it last once transferred to a barrel for it's secondary? Assuming I don't start drinking it until the parties start that is!
Thanks

It should be fine. It damned well better be, because I'm going to brew a bitter tomorrow for a Christmas party. The beers should last at least 6 months and probably a whole lot longer providing you keep the air out of it.
