Cold chilling

I have had a pale ale chilling in a fridge for 4 days after 14 days primary fermentation. I am chilling to improve clarity. I will be bottling the beer, but am not sure how long is a good time to chill before I do this. This is my first time cold chilling before bottling. Is 4 days enough or should I leave it longer?
 
i have had success with as little as 24 hours crashing. 3+ days is even better.
 
Longer would help and it won't hurt anything. Probably a minimum if 24 hours though.
 
If you're doing it to improve clarity, I'd suggest keeping it there until it's clear.

What he said! Each yeast strain will fluc differently, so we have no idea how long yours will take. Keep it there until it suits you :)

Related - can you cold crash during the dry hopping process?
 
I prefer to dry hop warm beer, but you can certainly cold crash after that. Any beer with a long cold crash or multiple crashes, you should rake up a bit of yeast from the bottom when racking if you are going to bottle condition.
