I plan to install two 120v elements to my aluminium kettle. I still don't know if I'm gonna go with a junction box or jb weld with a pvc coupling to mount the elements. Since my kettle is made out of aluminium, does this affect my grounding options ?

I'm not sure if I should ground at the box, top of the kettle with a stainless nut/bolt or just pinch the wire between my valve and the kettle...

Don't pinch the wire. That ground could save your life. Don't rely on pinched, crimped, or frayed wires.

Ground the biggest items and bond the smaller items to them. You might not have a good ground on the kettle if you only ground a junction box.

Grounding aluminum is no different than other metals. Consider soldering a ground lug near the bottom instead of running a wire up the side of the kettle.
