I have the grains crushed for Jamil's American Pale without caramel. I have too many Pale ales on tap or conditioning right now and am thinking I want to age something for later this winter.

Basically I have .75 lbs munich, .75lbs Victory, .50lbs wheat, and 11.5 lbs of 2-row.

I want to turn this recipe into a Barleywine by adding a can of LME, a pound of Crystal 80, and upping the hops. Any reason this wouldn't work? Suggestions? How about turning it into the 11/11/11 beer? Thanks!
