I just received my first brewing kit for xmas. Going to get started in a couple of weeks.

I have a Mr Beer kit, with one recipe. I need to set aside enough bottles to before starting.

Mr Beer is a good place to start and see if you will enjoy brewing. Be warned tho, brewing is an addiction and soon your house will become a brewery. I think Listermans is in your area and they can put kits together for Mr Beer that will probably be better than the kits Mr Beer sells. They also have advanced brewing equipment and other stuff you might need.
