Hi guys, I'm working on a brown ale that was in the primary for a little over a week, transferred to the secondary at around 1.016 SG. Transferred maybe a bit early, but I was going on vaca and wanted to get it moved.

It's been in the secondary for just over 2 weeks now, and it's still letting out a bubble about every 2 minutes or so. I was gonna bottle it real soon, but jeez, should I wait till the bubbling completely stops?

I know what you guys are gonna say- check the SG and make sure it's stable. But at this point I'd rather not disturb the beer this late in the game unless I absolutely have to.

Should I wait to bottle?

a week to the secondary for a brown ale? that's too young. if it was a bigger brew, it would probably stick. i'd let it go for 3. if i was going to secondary it, i'd put it there for another 2-3 weeks after that.
