I was going to do a survey but maybe this is normal. Does anyone find that beer bottled in a smaller bottle takes less time to age to the point where it tastes good? I've only made two batches so I thought it was a coincidence, but it seems to me the small bottles taste better quicker.

I hadn't noticed a difference, but as I have a hodgepodge of 12oz/22oz/1L bottles in my currently incubating batch I'll see if I discern a difference.

note to self...start with 12oz bottle, not 1L when testing...

Since I age in 5 gallon cornies, I'd say 50 oz isn't too much. Sounds like they'de be ideal for taking to parties or club meetings.

Hair of the Dog sells some brews in 50's.
