Do I just shake the keg? Click to expand... Or connect it to the CO2 and leave it alone. It's going to carb up in 5-7 days just fine this way. Shake and bake is for "I want to drink it sooner" mentality. And you could even over-carb it if you had a high PSI shake approach.

I finished my 2 - 5 gallon keg fridge just now and fired it up for the first time, and it's chillin down right now. Woohoo! What temp do you keep your fridge/beer at? I used Brittish Ale yeast in both my Stout and IPA.
