Couldn't find anything on this site on the forum, so if I'm late to the party, forgive me. I've recently found a site that posts beautiful shots of well designed beer bottles. I think it's pretty awesome, you guys might as well.

I'm not really sure who is doing it, but as a designer I appreciate someone putting together a site like this.

That's cool. I didn't see my favorite ones in there, but they could be buried further back. My wife always gives me a look when I comment on how cool a bottle looks because I want to keep them all :cross: Here's a few of the ones I like:

It's a pretty thin bottle but I can't get over how cool the neck is, ballooned out with the raised designs.

I just like how the shoulders on these bottles are nearly flat and how sturdy it is. All the SS beers and cider have cool labels too.

Sucker for stubby bottles.

Another set of cool bottles (prefer the stubby :cross:) I just wish the label wasn't a plastic sheath and the bottle were actually white.

I haven't ever seen a bottle like this from anyone but Young's.

This is a really cool bottle, and it's sturdy too. The design just feels so cool to hold. Even when I'm just drinking my own homebrew out of it I think about how sweet this bottle looks. What's also cool is the whole fish/ring legend. I wonder if the bottle was designed to look like a fish...I can kinda see it.

I love those Samuel Smith's also. Can never get myself to throw one in the recycling bin, feels like I'm throwing away an antique or something...

I too am a sucker for bottle design more so than label design. I prefer stubbies and only hold SN bottles for the rare occasion I bottle my own. I'd like more Hoegaarden, but am not such a wit fan.

I kinda dig the anchor bottle shape. Short and stubby, but rounded like an orval bottle.

Does anyone else notice that the shorter bottles carb up better/quicker? (is everyone currently going "duh, we figured that out a long time ago"?)

these are my favorite. Whenever I beer-swap with my brewing buddy, I always make sure to get these bottles back!

I noticed that the Cooper's ale bottles look almost exactly like the Youngs bottles. Too bad they're twisties. I love the old timey design. I also like how the redhook & pop top Michelob bottles have that ring around the base of the neck, just like the fused neck bottles of old. The Kentucky Bourbon Barrel ale bottles have a lil bit flatter/wider shoulder to them. Gotta get some pics though.

I've also noticed that the 12 Dogs of Christmas ale has a similar wide shoulder bottle.
