I used my brain and searched on google. . . simple

I ended up ordering one from brewers hardware thermowell only and Im thinking Ill drill my own stopper. Everyone says the 6.5 that comes with all the conventional setups is too small and goes all the way into the neck.

I had a heck of a time drilling stoppers, until I flared a piece of 1/4" copper pipe, chocked it up in the drill, and sharpened it with a file. A little silicone plumber goop and easy breezy holes. I did a two hole for a probe thermometer.

Pelipen: yeah it looks easy to drill so naturally I can tell it will be a beach. I'm not sure how I will attack it but I was envisioning some sort of hole-punch system ideally. I have some scrap copper tubing from a wort chiller build that I can use did you just shove it into the drill chuck?

Brewboy: do they sell stopper only?
