I just shook up my 2 cup yeast starter for WLP300, and I expected some spray out the airlock judging from last time I did it, but DAMN I just got Old Faithful! I just wiped all the sprayed yeast slurry off the kitchen counter and floor - it looked like I had a sprinkler going in the kitchen!
 
Had this happen once with a batch, not just a starter. There was a very fine mist coming out of the airlock. I don't know how long it had been going, but everything in the kitchen was damp.
