Hello, creepy old basement door. What's behind you?

Finally moved into our first house! Found the original door among the pile of old doors in the basement...all I had to do was slap it back up and cover the window....nice and dark.

Yeah, it's every homebrewer's nightmare. You think you are walking into a beer paradise, but little do you know you have to spoon with BrianCSA all night in the beer cave or else you get beat to death with a bottle of beer.

The thought's crossed my mind...the only hindrance is the glass block window, would have to take the blocks out. Definitely feasible though.

Congrats on the first house.

+1 for the walk in cooler.
The government gave you $8000, I'm sure you could build a really nice one for just a fraction of that. Better to see government money spent on homebrew than bailouts.
