Well bought citric acid and made a 3lb batch.
It has a nice clear amber color.

I put some into my beer I brewed 2 days ago and wow, talk about taking a long time to dissolve.

So is it normal for this home made candy to be real sticky?

I put the rest into zip lock baggies in the freezer.
 
It was hard as a rock, just sticky, the candy temp said 300 degrees.
