I picked up a brewers best american style pale ale kit several weeks back (LHBS had it on sale) and made it up. The only thing I differed from on the supplied directions was to toss in 1/2 my finishing hops at 5 minutes and the other 1/2 at flameout (instead of all at 5 minutes). I had in primary for about 10 days, secondary for another 2 weeks, and 3 weeks in the bottle. Overall, I am very happy with the way this turned out. It has a nice golden color, better head than I usually get from these kits, and that hop kick that I have been needing all day.

Congrats! Sounds like you made some tasty beer....

If you need a second opinion, send one my way :D

I also made this kit. I am drinking the first pint right now. I followed the directions, and fermented for 3 weeks in primary, then kegged. Good beer! I almost get some peach flavour in the hops.
